trail across the U .S. as they already have at home (where they have
topped the charts). The week before last (June 22) 1500 people were
reportedly turned away from a show at The Roxy in Atlanta, Georgia,
while a lucky 1200 managed to catch the grunge kids in action.
silverchair's debut single tomorrow is racing up the Billboard charts,
thanks to adds on more than 80 percent of U.S. alternative stations.
Their debut album, frogstomp, was recently released in the U.S.
Meanwhile back home, a new single, shade, has been released with a
bonus vocal version of the instrumental album track madman and a live
version of israel's son. silverchair return to Australia mid-July and
play their first headline show in Sydney for the year at the Metro on
August 4.
