'My Mind's Own Melody' to Screen at New York Film Festival
'My Mind's Own Melody' has been selected in the 51st New York Film Festival. The final screening of the cinematic modern musical created by Josh Wakely and Daniel Johns will be held at the Lincoln Centre, the NY equivalent of the Opera House, Oct 8 at 1pm. The NYFF is hailed among the top ten film festivals in the world, selecting only 16 short films from several thousand entries each year.
A film by Josh Wakely, original music and lyrics by Daniel Johns, featuring the talents of Golden Globe winner Lisa Gerrard and starring David Lyons, 'My Mind's Own Melody' played to a packed house over the weekend receiving a huge reaction.
