2007 ARIA Awards
We are more than chuffed to announce that Silverchair are contenders for the 2007 ARIA Awards, after the announcement of nominations in Sydney earlier today.
Silverchair received four nominations:
BEST ROCK ALBUM and ALBUM OF THE YEAR for their #1 album “Young Modern”
BEST GROUP and the coveted SINGLE OF THE YEAR for “STRAIGHT LINES”.
The band also received two ARTISAN AWARD nominations for BEST COVER ART for Hackett Films and BEST VIDEO for “STRAIGHT LINES”. The directors behind the clip Paul Goldman & Alice Bell won and were awarded with an ARIA AWARD earlier today!
These new nominations mean the band have now received 43 ARIA Award nominations in their extraordinary career so far!
