Australia beats Germany in soccer

Australia beat Germany 2-1 in an exhibition game today (in Germany)....thought you'd want to know. Germany beat Australia 4-0 in last summer's World Cup in South Africa.

So you call soccer, soccer? Is AFL the same as rugby in England?

BTW soccer is a nickname for Association Football, taking the "soc" in Association to make the word soccer. I believe rugby was first invented in England, than modified to become just with the feet (soccer, as Americans call it).
