I hear the stuff Daniel is saying and I think this will blow my tiny mind, but then I hear a song like Machina Collecta and think he's talking crap or he's not really hearing what we are.
I'm not confident this will be done and released by the years end.

I like to think that Machina Collecta and 16 were both just a very well planned elaborate hoax. I mean its Daniel, hes crazy enough to do that.

Then I think this might actually be the real thing and I realised I've just insulted the band.

How can anyone expect Daniel to pull a hoax? and who would go out and perform two songs 6 times to an audience for the fun of it? If it were a hoax then its the stupidest thing to ever do if you want to win back fans from 2-3 years before. I personally, wouldnt expect Daniel to do that, anyway, I 5th that "Sheesh"

the only disappointing thing for me is the last part, about not knowing when the album will come out.
when it comes to their music, i'm very open minded, so, as long as they don't turn into a mariachi or a samba band, it's fine by me.

I don't think they're in any hurry. Daniel is currently in Sydney (I don't know if they're recording here). But last week he got seen twice having drinks out with Luke Steele and someone else, and then in today's paper, it said Daniel got spotted having a cigarette at some restaurant with two female companions.

hmm... ive noticed both in this thread and another a lot of negativity being directed towards faeri princess and content in her possession. need i remind people that most of us have very extensive and time consuming lives outside of the silverchair forum. if stuff can be shared, then great... but none of us have any right to whinge or complain when it isn't given to you on a silver platter immediately. these things are time consuming, especially if done right.

I dont want to rush anything, but it kinda bums me out that they dont even know when they're gonna finish!
It is very exciting how we never know what to expect from those guys... I dont know what to think, I just hope they wont let me down, which is something they never did, so... my hopes are high!
