I've been laughing a lot looking at this site! Sometimes it's a bit sad though cause the people are probably just crazy...

lol, my boyfriend is the one who found this site to show me.

Honestly.. most of it is funnier when you read the captions written below the pictures. sometimes they really nail it!

phenol. wrote:Awesome!! I think a skirt would be neat. Kitty, what kind of clothes did you make? I made a duct tape corset and boot tops for this past Halloween. Man, it was hot. Not in a sexy way, more of a "can't.. breathe.. must.. find air conditioning" way. Kinda smells too, but it was worth it.

I saw your corset, you sexy sex!! i totally plan to copy you one night when I'm fidgety and feel like making impractical things.

We made a variety of clothing, all in basic gray duct tape.. I totally made boot tops too! plus a skirt.. my friend made a shift dress, and she couldn't sit down in it.. another friend made pants and a shirt, and her outfit was by far the funniest, she looked like a gray C3PO. and she could barely bend her knees once we taped her into the pants. the other girl lamed out and only made a vest. she was the most comfortable one though. We also made "jewelry", like really crappy bracelets & headbands. we looked so terrible.. but we'd spent so much time on it that we HAD to go through with it, so we staggered downtown like low budget robots. & got ridiculed for our efforts.

i'm revisiting this thread because (a) it's made of awesome and (b) this is my friend's dad. for real. he's actual an adorable santa clausish man but i'm still unsure why in the eff he's wearing this. have sent note to said friend asking for explanation.

no, i'm not kidding.

well, to know my friend is to love her for her bold fashion sense. tbh she dresses LOUD. bright colors. tutus. always wears high heels. ALWAYS. so i asked her about her dad and she said she doubted it was for anything special, that he dresses like that...and i quote...all the time.

so i think i have figured out where she got her love for wearing things that shock people.

Thanks for bumping this thread back up views. I missed it the first time around.

Oh man! *gag* do these pictures ever bring back the nightmares of the year I worked at Wal-mart when I was 17! The HORRID things I saw in there! And I live in Canada. It's just wal-mart itself that attracts the crazy!

Me too! I mean, I understand having something REALLY mean something to you and touch your life somehow. I have lyrics on a tattoo, but to put anybody's face on you that isn't your child or parent or something, to me, that's going kind of far. Edward Cullen is a fictional character, and even worse, that's totally from a poster of Robert Pattinson. I think the man is pretty and I've enjoyed reading the Twilight books, and I enjoy the movies too, but COME ON!!!

I think if you love Twilight or Stephenie Meyer's writing THAT MUCH, then take the lyrics route and have a quote or line from the books or movies put discreetly on your body somewhere. You don't have to tattoo fictional, brooding vampire eyes on your back with the TWILIGHT font....it's just unoriginal and looks like a huge regret waiting to happen. Sorry, Wal-Mart lady.
