But surely having someone like James Franco it can't be too low budget, as they would not be able to afford him.

i just imagine it will be low budget because i cant imagine it being a big budget movie..!

I would imagine the bulk of it would be about his slow rise to fame..starting out in little coffee shops, being discovered, etc. I'm sure there will be a scene with him performing at his father's memorial..
and maybe meeting Nusrat, his idol..
It will probably touch on his OCD when recording albums..
he had a couple of intense romantic relationships too..
and his life got verrrry interesting near the end, when he was living in that tiny house in TN.. his mental health started to take a nose dive.
But I don't see this being a big budget movie either. It's still surprising to me how many people have still never heard of him
And hey, if Franco is a big Jeff fan, he'd probably be willing to do it for free! lol

I just picture it being like Walk The Line or something.

i hope they do it with a bigger budget, like as in not a limited-release film, just for the hope that it will mean more people can discover his talent, rather than it just being watched by fans like us
