(we had perfect timing because we were holding a sign that said those thieving birds on it & had asked them before the show to play it)

Those Theiving Birds sounds so unbelievable live! I can't believe they don't play it more often...I know it's because (as Daniel has said a few times) it's a difficult song to do, but soooo worth it!!!

i saw them going into the venue (after climbing out of a local radiostation's scion, daniel was sitting in the trunk part haha) and asked if they'd play those thieving birds, they were all just kinda silent like "yeah whatever" looking at eachother.... i told them "ok well either tonight or tomorrow please!!" and daniel responded "hmm possibly" after the show, there was a big group of people around the back door and when ben came out he walked right up to me and put his hand on my shoulder with a big smile and said "those thieving birds, that was for you guys!!" (my friend and me) so sweet!

I had the privilege of hanging out with Daniel, Ben and Paul after the Columbus show.. it was definitely one of the best experiences I've had! I've been wanting to meet them since I was 15 (13 long years ago), and you can't imagine how happy I was to finally have the opportunity. For over an hour (broken up into two segments - he had to go upstairs to shower) we chatted and drank tequila (which Daniel bought - he wouldn't let me pay for anything, going as far as pushing my money away, twice, when I tried to slide it in with his on the bar). Here are some (unflattering, haha) pictures of me, my best friend Carri and Daniel at the hotel -
