If there's one conclusion we've come to after visiting L.A. several times in the past few years, it's that we definately don't wan't to drive there! Renting a car would've gotten way too expensive and we would of just wasted even more time getting lost. Besides, our friends were nice enough to offer us a rides to both the Anaheim and San Diego shows, so we didn't want to be rude by saying no...little did we know we'd be running so late and hit such horrible traffic to top it off! Thankfully the cab ride to the The Wiltern was only 10 minutes away from our hotel downtown so we managed to get there pretty early. There was no way we were driving to San Francisco, so we just took a cheap flight the day of the show.
btw bridg...I've been meaning to ask you if you've ever been to Swingers Diner? We loved it so much we went three times during our stay! I'm pretty sure they stay open until 4 or 5 a.m. serve alcohol and have an extensive vegetarian menu...HEAVEN!!!
It was only a 10 minute ride from the Wiltern...we went there after the show and ended up staying until 3 in the morning...they make a mean Mojito
