I saw Silverchair in Minneapolis a few nights ago for the first time ever. It was fantastic! Was anyone else there? Anyone have pictures or video? I saw people with phones and cameras, i know they're out there...

It was a good show, but for some reason I liked the Boston show more.
Dan's voice was actually better at Minn., but in Boston his voice had more "soul" I guess you could say.

Good times. I waited by the bus for a bit and Paul came out. Really nice guy. Yadda yadda, I asked him when we'll hear more Dissociatives and he said he wasn't sure but it will happen. Went back to my hotel and shortly afterwards I saw their bus pull up (had no idea I was staying at the same hotel). I went outside and saw Ben, Chris, and Daniel in the lobby. They came out so I had to say thanks and great show. They all were really nice guys even considering how tired they must've been at the end of the North American tour. Daniel had this big grin on his face.

Can't wait to do it again.

Damn you! Lucky sob. Could you divulge which hotel you were staying at? I was at the Marriott right down the street from First Avenue.
What day did you seem them? Shit. I got to the concert at about 1pm on Sunday just to try to see them. I thought I would have a good chance.

I stayed at the Ramada Inn (about a block from the venue). I just found out that my friends, Aric and Pete, met Daniel right after I did. I called them afterwards to let them know what just happen and they sprinted over there. Apparently my friend Aric got his picture taken with Daniel. Funny story, both of my friends were pretty drunk and Aric had his arm around Daniel while Pete struggled with the camera. He first took a picture of a painted line on the ground. Daniel said "there, you've got a picture of a line". Aric said "it's an important line". Then Daniel said "It is a yellow line". I haven't seen the picture of the two of them yet but I hear Daniel has this WTF look on his face. Yeah, pretty drunk. I post it here when he sends it to me.

Dan and the boys were more than accessible for this show. We were walking out of the parking garage and saw Dan and Chris just walking up the street towards the venue outside about an hour or so before the doors opened. I was so upset that we had decided to leave the camera in the car thinking that they would not let you take them inside like most venues. We walked up and talked to him anyway and said we wish we would have had our camera and Daniel said "why would you want a picture with us, we're just people". Not many people even noticed them, which was odd because when we made our way over to the other side of the building where the line was it was stretched out with people for the entire block. Little did they know they were just on the wrong side of the building to see what they were waiting for in person.

Does anyone have any pictures of the show itself?? I haven't found anything anywhere yet and would love to have some of the event I traveled 6 and a half hours to see.

How awesome that you and your friends got to meet them like that! And I'm surprised they were at a Ramada Inn... I always expect bands and celebrities to stay at the high-end posh hotels. Gotta love that the guys are all down to earth and stay at the regular places the rest of us do.
