Oh trouwens, aangezien ik hoogstwaarschijnlijk wel gewoon ga enzo, iemand zin om te meeten?

Al is de interactie op het Neêrlandsche gedeelte van dit forum niet zo verbijsterend geweldig. :P

Oooh ooh, are you saying that the Dutch Silverchair forum hasn't been as active as some other bands forums? Did I read it correctly? Go me... :D

Well, more or less. I said that the Dutch part of these forums weren't very active, no.

Also, my choice of words is pretty unusual most of the time.

Haha, we'll use it for my own personal Dutch lessons! I don't have much to contribute either, unless we start talking about the 'chair in English.

Have you heard of the Dutch runner Martin 'Tinus' Osendarp who came 3rd in the 100 and 200ms behind Jesse Owens at the Berlin Olympics? He is my great-great uncle!

Actually I have nooo idea, but that's pretty awesome. :|

I come from a line of painters. \m/ You can buy fridge magnets made by my great grandmother in tourist shops in Amsterdam, haha. :P

Is there anything in particular that I need to teach you in Dutch? ^^

My grandfather, auntie and uncle are all painters! My grandfather was excellent but he passed away a while ago. They also do stain glass windows, plaster picture frames, drawings, all types of things! What was your relative's name?

I don't know what I need to learn in particular because its basically everything and would take forever. :)

Haha, they were called Knip. :P

Or Knipp. I have no idea actually.

I do own a fridge magnet! :P And there's a square near my school called the Henriette Ronner square, and that's my great grandma, and she was a painter, because it was actually the Ronner-Knip family.

I hate hearing about the war. A large part of the books for children and teenagers here, is about the war. I refuse to read them.

Also, I went to the most fucked up school disco *ever* last night (on Thursday, ghe). First I was stuck with like, 11 girls all doing their make-up and me just sitting in a corner drinking beer. Then we went to the school party (I dunno what you call it, it's not a "prom" or anything). And then I got into a fight with the security guy, a reeeally big bald guy. For some reason you weren't allowed to go outside for a second and go back in again. I told him he should've said that when we came in but added some swearing he didn't like and I got kicked out five minutes after I got in. With a bag full of beer and lots of weed everywhere. :P

Fortunately, the School Junkie came too (also with a bag full of beer) and we went somewhere else.

But it was fucked up. :P

Oh dear, thats naughty stuff to get up to at school! Weed, lol! Hilarious...
That sort of thing didn't happen at my school... We don't call them proms, just school dances or whatever. They were usually pretty lame also as we went to an all girls school lol.

I like reading about wars because its interesting, but my relatives suffered a lot and don't talk about it much.

An all girls school, that's awesome. :|

Yeah I know a lot of war victims actually, now that I think about it.
