EWw this is the most disgusting version of PPP ever!
1. Guitar out of tune
2. Paul Macs Expression
3. Gillies misses or Daniel Goes to early for the first boom.
4. I think that was the final fuck you for some of the older songs..

yeah that's pretty bad. oh well... happens to everyone. mostly the out of tune guitar gets me... but also I think his voice/singing style has changed too much to do it justice these days.

The only problem with new ones is the atmosphere, you can tell how excited the fans become when Chris starts playing Israels Son or Daniel starts the riff to the door. You get where I am going>?

It's not that bad.

It does make me wish they would play more Neon Ballroom on their tours. It truely is a landmark 'chair album and in certain aspects their best.
"We got Pedestrian Brazilian Dancers" Indeed, wtf!!!

yeah, I see what you mean.. but I think it's in him to write stuff that's as catchy and audience-pleasing.. give it a bit of time.

Remembering Daniel Johns was into Sabbath when he was younger, I cant figure out if this song is real or fake its too hard to decide.

if you keep losing sleep? without going to check that it's B... maybe, except that wasn't a huge single for them... I meant they *could* have another huge instantly recognizable single, Daniel's writing on the last album was really catchy.. you never know.

edit: huh that link is interesting... did they do any recording in 1993 though? could be.. it doesn't sound that much like early silverchair, but not insanely unlike them either.

The whole Clipsal 500 show wasnt very good imo. I've seen the whole thing and... it definitely wasn't there best stuff. But this was back when they were only demoing YM so I think it was the fact of them being a bit rusty and not much rehearsal. *shrug*
