I went to see My Sister's Keeper a few days ago, guess whose music they used at the end of the movie? 8) It was Jeff singing We All Fall In Love Sometimes :)

A Jeff moohavoie!!??!!

Surely he won't be able to learn to sing as well as Mr. Buckley...? If he does then muchous kudos to him.

Does said movie have a title yet?

Mystery White Boy, according to IMDB.

Does this mean Jeff's mother approves?

If you've seen James Franco's interpretation of James Dean, you'd have to be pretty happy that he's going to play Jeff. And that zany smile!

Me too. I had to dig out my Freaks and Geeks box set for a little James Franco-athon last night.

He's probably a good choice to play Sir Jeff. He looks a hell of a lot like him. I read a rumour somewhere that suggested maybe Robert Patterson might play him....that's a combination most girls won't be able to resist...

Also, I'm not exactly clued up on the in's and out's of Jeff's life, apart from his music and his untimely demise, so I'm just wondering what else is going to happen in this biopic mahoovie?

james franco is a good choice. thank god it's not robert patterson! good grief

i guess his mom must approve finally, hey? have to admit though.. i sorta lost touch with jeff buckley news and such. haven't listened to his music in a while either. love him and appreciate his music.. but it's the kinda thing where you have an event/person/time period associated and you just can't really listen without certain unsettling feelings arising. or maybe i just prefer more upbeat stuff now. who knows. definately am interested in seeing this for sure though!

Oy! Robert Pattinson as Jeff Buckley? Good god....that would be a bad choice. He doesn't look a thing like him. :?

James Franco, on the other hand, makes me excited about the movie! He's talented and could look the part EASILY. :D
I love Marty.

The movie's finally going forward...really

SWEET!!

I've always thought James Franco would be a great casting call as Jeff Buckley.

Guess he'll have to hone his lip syncing skillage 'cause you know we fans will be watching those lips o' his with a steadfast eye.

thats a good point- i guess probably how he felt about his dad wil come up- but i hope it just focuses on his music and how he used to play in the bars in ny to hardly any people but still loved it, going from that to being a huge 'mtv' star i spose will make an interesting movie...i imagine it will be real low budget

Well if someone could write a whole book about him, it should be easy enough to make a movie about him!
