Last week:

Monday: I woke up at noon, I was at my friend's apartment, his name is Bruno and he's a psychologist (and my best friend, I would say). We went to the supermarket and bought food, then we came back and he cooked lunch while we talked about life. We had pasta with great sauce, it was delicious, we also had chocolate and soda. After lunch, we smoked some pot and listened to Soundgarden (Superunkown), Black Sabbath (Sabbath Bloody Sabbath) and Pink Floyd (Wish You Were Here), Bruno was relaxing in his bed enjoying the music and I was singing along as if I was on stage, it was very good. After that, we visited our friend, his name is Guilherme and he was Bruno's classmate at university, Guilherme's apartment was a mess, we had to stay in the balcony, Guilherme had a joint and we smoked it while listening to Mutantes (Brazilian psychedelic band from the 60s) and talking deeply about our lives. Then I told the boys goodbye and went to Samuel's company (he's a friend and he owns a I.T company), I saw him and his wife (Fabi) and the 3 of us went to the city of Portão (small city where they live). They had a business appointment with a farmer, it was really boring and I was so high...I ended up having a bad trip, thinking I was going to be as boring as that man when I age. Then me, Samuel and Fabi went to a café and had french fries and beer, we headed to their house and watched South Park for hours, I had to sleep in the floor but I didn't mind - it was probably midnight.

Tuesday: I woke up at 8, had a coffee with Samuel and Fabi and they drove me home. I greeted my parents and had a long shower, then I watched El Chavo while I was having lunch. I cancelled my appointment at the studio (I'm recording my first album) cos I was feeling sick. I played my electric guitar loudly (very loud), basically Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath and my own songs. Then my mother came back from work and brought my computer back (cos it was not working), I tested it and it was ok. After that, I went to the gym and had my swimming classes, it was good but the city had a big problem with the water company and we couldn't have a warm shower after the class (it's winter). I came back home and listened to the album "Live in Stockholm'' by Miles Davis & John Coltrane, I played Halo (a 2001 video-game), I listened to the 1st CD of a live album by Miles Davis & Sonny Stitt, then I realized my parents were already in bed, so I smoked marijuana and since I got really high I listened to the 2nd CD of the Miles Davis live album with Sonny Stitt, I had a good time and I felt really horny (marijuana does that sometimes) but I had no one to fuck (and this is São Leopoldo, a small city that goes to bed 11 PM), pornography was the choice. I played Halo and then I realized it was morning, I went to bed.

Wednesday: I woke up late, had something to eat while I watched Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air, then I cleaned the house, it took me the whole afternoon and I did it while listening to Pink Floyd and B.B King. My father went working and the house was free (and clean), so I smoked marijuana and I felt horny again. I called Sabrina (a girl whom I basically meet only for sex) but she didn't answer the phone, I called Alice but she was at work, and I called Roberta but she was at work too....- which means, pornography again. I played electric guitar loudly but I stopped when my parents came back home. I played Halo and read a book about brazilian politics, I had a shower and felt so sleepy and went to bed.

Thursday: I woke up at 11 AM, played video game (Halo) and watched tv while I had lunch. I went back to bed and I woke up like 5 PM, I played Halo again for hours. Then I preparred the English classes for my mother and taught her, she did good (it was about present progressive, adjectives and the use of a/an). Then I listened to the album "Green Dolphin Street" by Miles Davis and played Halo. my parents had gone to bed, so I smoked marijuana. High, I listened to the album "Manchester Concert" by Miles Davis (it's 1:38 hour), played Halo, watched the documentary "Loose Change" about sept 11 and went to bed.

Friday: I woke up late, had something to eat while I watched El Chavo and cleaned the house. I played Halo and played piano. Then I went downtown, I needed to go to the gym but they hadn't fixed the water problem yet. My cousin Carol called me, we met at a bar and had beer, it was great, we talked about our current lives. We went to her apartment and smoked pot, we had a really crazy but deep conversation about girls and boys...but my friends called me and invited me to party. I left my cousin's apartment and met my friends at the students' house (Lucas, Ana, Juliano, Zandor and Bruno), they were already drunk when I got there, and they had marijuana, we smoked and drank beer. We walked around the city while we talked about a lot of stuff I don't remember anymore. We went to a café and had hot-dogs, my father called me and picked me up. At home, I had a coke and I went to bed.

Saturday: I woke up late, my brother Pablo was at home, I was glad to see him, my family and I had lunch in the table, it was good but I came back to bed. I woke up late, really late...my niece and nephew were at home, I played with my nephew a lot, he's so cute, I played with my niece as well, she's very nice, she played the piano as well. I played Halo and then my brother Diego came to pick the children up (I forgot to mention, there was a lot of chocolate at home that Pablo had brought). I listened to the album "More B.B. King" by B.B. King and me and my brother watched the movie "V for Vendetta", I loved it, we watched House (4th season) and then he went to bed. I went to the garage and smoked marijuana, then I listened to the album "My Kind Of Blues" by B.B. King. I played Halo until I finished the game, I liked it (except The Flood, which is a pain in the ass). I went to bed.

Sunday: I woke up late, had lunch with my parents and brother and came back to bed. I woke up late, my brother went home (I mean, his) and I listened to the album "Blue Hawaii" by Elvis Presley and had dinner (leftovers, from lunch). Then my mother came and we had a terrible argument because of the fact I smoke marijuana, she insulted me and acted really stupid, same thing for my father. I was so angry, I left the house and went to the students' house. I met my friends Lucas and Ana there, I told them about the fight I had with my mother, they had the solution - Alcohol. We smoked marijuana first, Mirian showed up (she is a friend who I kinda dated for some time) and we played "I never", it was cool. Then we went to a bar and played pool and drank wine but it was getting too boring. Me and Lucas went to a gas station and bought vodka and coke and picked the girls up and headed back to the students' house. Me and Miriam were kinda checking each other out and when she said something deep I held her hand and she kissed me, we made out while the 4 of us were drinking vodka with coke...then I had to pee. When I left the bathroom I saw my friend Diego, we talked about music and work, it was good seeing him. Then I came back to Ana's room (where Mirian, Ana and Lucas were too), Mirian suggested a 4 people kiss at the same time, we did it and it was cute, but we were so drunk that we ended up sleeping together hugging each other. I was really out of mind, Lucas tried to kiss me (he's gay) when we were trying to sleep and I cuddled Miriam a lot.

Last week:

Monday: I woke up early, with my friends on me, I asked Ana to open the door for me and I took a bus back home. My parents were already awake and I ignored them and went straight to bed. I woke up late, 3 PM, and had something to eat while I watched El Chavo and Chapolin. I read a book about politics in south of Brazil (it's called "PT, Marx and Christianity" by José H. Dacanal) and I cleaned the kitchen. My parents had arrived from work and again started companining about who I am and being really aggressive, I was again upset and locked myself in my bedroom. Ana called me and invited me to watch a movie at her place (students' house), I accepted but first I listened to the album "Something For Everybody" by Elvis Presley, I took a shower and then took a bus downtown to the students' house. Ana, Lucas, Bruno, Mirian and Filosofo were there already, it was good seeing them, we smoked our first joint and drank wine and then we watched the movie "A clockwork orange", I love that movie, it was fantastic, everybody loved it. After the movie, I went to the kitchen with Mirian and we had some pop corn and talked about the movie and about acting. Then me and my friends watched the second movie (also, we shared the second - and last - joint), we watched "The Shining", I love that movie too but unfortunately my friends fell asleep during it. After the movie I fell asleep too, with Ana cuddling my head.

Tuesday: I woke up with Ana on me, I asked her to open the door for me, Bruno and Lucas also left the house with me. Lucas went the other way, back to his house, and me and Bruno went to Bruno's apartment. At Bruno's, we went first to the supermarket and bought food, soda and chocolate. We headed back to his apartment and cooked lunch (Pasta and red sauce), we had lunch while we talked about sex and women and listened to Genesis. Then I walked back home, it took me 1 hour. At home, my father was having lunch and acted like an ass to me. I went to my room and took a nap. When I woke up, I had a coffee and read the book about politics and listened to the album "Now, Here's Johnny Cash" by Johnny Cash. Then I took the bus downtown and went to my swimming classes, I did really good at swimming classes, nearly broke my own record. I took a shower and came back home by bus. At home, I had a sandwich and my mother came to apologize to me and told me she loves me and cried, I was emotional too and I went straight to bed. I woke up in the middle of the night, I listened to first cd of the album "At Carnegie Hall" By Miles Davis, I read the book about politics and listened to the second cd of the Miles Davis album, then I watched the movie "Zeitgeist", I LOVE that movie. I went to bed afterwards.

Wednesday: I woke up really late, had something to eat and cleaned the house while I listened to Black Sabbath's Technical Ecstasy. Then dad came to talk to me, asking me about drugs and telling me about mom, I told him we're fine and that I'm fine. I listened to Soundgarden and then dad drove me downtown. I went to Bruno's, we talked for some time and then he told me he was moving to a new apartment. I went to the gym for my swimming classes, I was the only student and I had the whole swimming pool for me, I did average on wednesday, but it was good enough to me. I took a shower and dad picked me up, my brother Pablo was in the car. At home, I had something to eat with Pablo and listened to the first cd of the album "In Person Friday and Saturday Nights at the Black Hawk" by Miles Davis. Me and Pablo, then, rehearsed our set list cos we have a gig to play in a few weeks ahead (we play guitars (he plays acoustic and I play electric), songs from David Bowie, Silverchair, Oasis, Muse, Black Sabbath, Pink Floyd, U2, PJ Harvey, Travis and Robert Johnson) I read my book about politics and I watched the documentary "Angels and Demons Revealed" about the Illuminati, I thought it was too silly and untrue but at least it helped me have a better understanding of groups such as the assassins and templars. I listened to the second cd of the Miles Davis album and went to bed.

Thursday: I woke up late, had something to eat while I watched South Park. I cleaned the kitchen and I bought coke at the grocery store and drank it as I walked back home. I read the book about politics and I listened to the album "Sketches Of Spain" by Miles Davis, then I played the video game Return To Castle Wolfenstein. I spent 2 hours preparring English classes for my mother while I listened to music. Then I taught her (my mother) English, I taught her other used of simple present, vocabulary related to occupations and working and I introduced the verb "to be" in the past tense. I listened to the album "Someday my Prince Will Come" by Miles Davis, I read my book about politics and I went to bed.

Friday: I woke up late, had something to eat and took the bus to the other side of town, to the studio where I'm working on my debut album. I greeted Mauro (the producer) and we discussed for hours about the arrangements for my album, we discussed about who is going to record drums and bass (cos I don't want to record them myself cos I am not as good as a professional is), Mauro contacted a professional and he agreed to record the drums and bass on tuesday. I recorded the leading track for track 7 on guitar and the first part of track 12 and then it was time for a break, I drank coffee and talked to Mauro about music and literature, he showed me songs he wrote himself and gave me his second album as a gift, plus his book of poetry. Afterwards, I went to Marcel's bar (which is near, he is a friend who I used to play with) and I invited him to play percussion, he agreed only if we could jam some time for fun, he also asked me if I want to buy marijuana cos his friend has some to sell, I told him only next week cos I don't have money. I went to Bruno's and helped him unpack his things cos he was moving to his new apartment. Then I went to my swimming classes, I did good on friday, but I was so tired at the end. I took a shower and went to the San Lou pub and I talked to the owner cos I have a gig to play there in a few weeks. Then I met my friend Bruno and we went to the students' house. There, our friends Ana, Lucas, Rodrigo and Filosofo were there, we smoked marijuana ( a very strong one, we named it "terrorist weed"), we smoked it while listening to Miles Davis with John Coltrane (actually watching it, on youtube) and I was in a really good trip. Mirian showed up and smoked with us, I started doing a trumpet solo with my mouth and all of the sudden I realized the music was already off and it was just me "singing". We went to a park, smoked more pot and got even higher, we talked about philosophy and history and we reached deep conclusions. Then we went to Bruno's new flat. The apartment is very small but it's only for him, so it's nice. We drank wine and smoked more pot and we turned to lights off and each person had to make a sound in order to create music, I did some weird low sound but Rodrigo ruined everything when he tried to be funny making funny noises. We later on danced to each other and did a weird thing. The weird thing was the following: One person had to stand up and close the eyes (the lights were out) and everybody else had to touch the person who was standing up in many different parts of the body. Lucas was first but he didn't like to be touched, Mirian was the second and I touched all her body in a very erotic way, she complained about me, but when it was my turn she did the same. Mirian started to check me out all the time, and then we smoked more pot and I started "being philosopher" and automatically started saying stuff about how people create their own conceptions of "good and bad", she was smiling at me and hugged me, and then later on she kissed me and we spent the rest of the time making out. After a couple of hours, my friends left and there was only me and Bruno, we went to a café and had a cheeseburger and then we came back to his apartment (the old one). I slept in the couch.

Saturday: I woke up at 8 AM, Bruno and his mother were up, I entered her car and she drove Bruno to the place he works saturday morning and she drove me home. At home, I went straight to bed. I woke up and when my mother asked me if I wanted to have lunch with the family (my parents and my brother Pablo), I agreed and we all had lunch together, it was good. After lunch, I talked to Pablo for some time and he left back home (his, in Porto Alegre). I listened to the album "Brandenburg Gate: Revisited" by The Dave Brubeck Quartet, I called Roberta, a girl I am trying to date. She answered the phone and we talked, it was cute, I asked her out, she agreed but only next week. Then Bruno called me and invited me to get drunk at his new apartment, I agreed. Then I played Return To Castle Wolfenstein, had a shower and had dinner with my parents. Then Dad drove me downtown. I went to Bruno's new apartment, it was nice and cool, our friends Zandor, Lucas and Ana were there too. We started drinking wine and smoking marijuana while listening to music, it was crazy and cool, we had really deep and good conversations about life and stuff. I played guitar for them (with the lights off), only Led Zeppelin and Beatles songs, they said they loved it. We all slept together (I mean SLEPT, and not something else ahahha) while listening to Aphrodite's Child, Pearl Jam and The Beatles.

Sunday: I woke up at 11 at Bruno's to the irritating sound of my cel phone, it was my mother calling me and telling me she was at the front of Bruno's apartment, waiting for me. I asked Bruno to open the door and I entered the car and greeted my parents. We went to Novo Hamburgo, where my older brother (Diego) lives with his family (but he's on vacation with his wife in Buenos Aires, Argentina) to visit the kids (my niece and nephew) and my aunt Teresa (who is taken care of the kids). I gave them a warm hug but I was so bad (hangover) that I ended up sleeping in my brother's bed until it was time to have lunch with my family. After lunch, dad drove me back home (my mother stayed in Novo Hamburgo). At home, I went straight to bed and slept until 6 PM. I woke up and posted here, then my parents arrived with my brother Pablo (not the one who is on vacation) and my cousin Carol, they told me they were going to The Beats concert (argentinean band that plays Beatles' songs), they invited me but I was not feeling ok, Ana called and invited me to get drunk and high again but I declined the invitation, I need to rest and recover from 2 nights of doing the same thing (getting drunk and high). I had dinner and played Return To Castle Wolfenstein and here I am, it is 10 PM and I'm gonna listen to the album "Time Further Out" by The Dave Brubeck Quartet, read my book about politics, play Return To Castle Wolfenstein, play guitar and piano, and maybe watch a documentary about hypnosis (if I don't fall asleep during it).

It was a good week, but a too junkie one. I need to rest more, I've been feeling tired lately, I mean mentally tired. I'm going to chill for some time, next week will be tough cos I'll have to start working more on my album. Something I liked about this last week was Mirian, sometimes I think I'll probably end up falling for her, although I still see her as a great friend who I share romantic moments with.

CHANGE IN A MADMAN'S LIFE

So, I got a job (teaching English, but it's in a great place) and it's in another city, which means I'm moving to Porto Alegre finally (Porto Alegre is the capital city of my state, it's where the urban fun is). University classes started this week but I was so lazy and I didn't go to any of them....I have 3 dates this week and I'm really excited about them. I celebrated the end of the last era of my life by camping with friends and taking a LSD trip, it was great, I felt so powerful. Now, I'm just waiting for my brother to find a nice apartment for us.

I'm also working a lot in my album, I'll be recording drums and bass soon.
