Holy crap Revbab, I would have driven through the lights if there was nobody there. Especially on Halloween. That's why I lost my licence once, lol.

I had an extended four day Halloween party lol, so it's a bit of a blur.. But at some point I dressed up as a vampire! I'll post photos in the photo thread.

I've said it on facebook but I'll say it on here too. Those costumes are fantastic. You're brilliant for going all out and getting super creative with your children.

These aren't my kids, but close enough. My niece and nephew went as Hansel and Gretel this year!





My sister handmade their outfits too. Creative, awesome mothers rock my world.

here are a couple of me and the boy doing "zombie sid and nancy".. we pulled our costumes together on halloween afternoon... I didn't think we'd be able to pull it off but I'm pretty proud of how it turned out (especially him, he looks way better than me).

Awesome costumes all around!!! One thing I wish I knew how to do was sew. I mean, I can work a sewing machine, and I make very basic things, but nothing fun and cool. Some day I'll buy a sewing machine and learn.

I can sew by hand but it takes me forever now with my arthritic nastiness. I used to crochet and knit as well. I need to get a sewing machine as well and defy the odds! I love being crafty. I have the greatest idea for Christmas presents for all of my kiddos. 4 nieces and nephews, man......that would be a LOT of money to spend in stores, but if I find the time and make things......then they get Christmas shtuff and my bank account doesn't get raped.

That is precisely why I learned how to knit a few years ago! I need to find some new things to knit. Maybe my nieces and nephews will get mittens for Christmas.

I was hoping for people to comment on our costumes while we were out on the town.. one of the fun things about halloween being that "snooty" toronto folks relax a bit and talk to strangers like it ain't no thangg.. but nobody did. but now I feel validated

gaah I know what you mean! I feel like I always end up manning the camera too, and it's good cause I don't have to trust my friends not to take shitty pictures but at the same time there are never photos of me and it's hard to get people to send you photos.. lazy lazy.
