I don't think we want another "grunge" album.
I'd like to listen a "Rock" album, that doesn't mean "grunge" or "heavy".
I'm a big fan of progressive Rock bands of 70's. King Crimson, Genesis, Emerson, Lake & Palmer.
They were so melodic.
A good example of Rock that is not "heavy" is the proyect called STORM CORROSION. This is a colaboration of Steven Wilson (Porcupine Tree) and Mikael Akerfeldt (Opeth). This proyect almost doesn't have drums...but it's a Rock album.
