What'd you think of it? I talked with a couple of friends about this and, well, we were disappointed to say the least. The problem is, we can't put our finger on what exactly the issue was. We're really not sure. I mean, silverchair weren't bad by any means, they were great (though not what they were the two previous shows), so we don't know what exactly it was....but overall, the show was very disappointing. Anyone else get that feel?

He told the koala joke, and even acted out, so no way the performance was bad.
It was the security and the noob.
They TRIPLE checked our tickets!! They were almost going to not let me in with my "July" ticket!!!!
Seriously, how the hell can they not know that the show was rescheduled?! Dumbasses. Ugh! And they TOOK them too, wtf?! Uhhh, hello, they SCANNED the stupid things - they don't need to take them! Idiots. I've never seen a more idiotic venue in my life, and I've seen some really stupid ones. Not to mention the fact that silverchair were SO far back on the stage...that had to've been another stupid venue thing.

Did you girls ever get your tickets back? One of the security people told me where to get them after the show, but I completely forgot to go back.
And I agree about the show. There definitely was some weird vibe going on. The crowd was pretty decent overall, but the band didn't seem to be feeling it.
I thought the show was great. I didn't like that the stage was so high up and they were so far back. Maybe that is what made it feel a little different, especially since the previous show was so intimate. I sort of know what you mean though. I was dissapointed in the venue, not the show.
Man, we need to find some people with some hook-ups on some drugs.....

I was thinking the same thing! Although, I think it was because the mics and everything were farther up towards the front of the stage. They didn't really need that barricade since the stage was so far back.
But yeah, the performances were excellent in themselves. There were some stellar performances in there, including Ana's song, which I usually don't particularly care for live.
p.s. I emailed their booking people about the venue, yesterday... I'm not sure if it was the right people to email, but whatever. I asked them to never schedule silverchair at the wiltern again, that I was a concerned fan, and I had a horrible time with the venue, and it put a damper on my enjoyment of the show.
I dont why they took the tickets, but oh well. I thought the stage wasnt so high either! I went there once before and I sat in the balcony, it was assigned seating. So I guess from there it didnt seem so high
Yeah, they didnt seem totally into it but I still had a good time. Maybe they were just tired?
Emotion Sickness made my night, although I would have liked Across the Night, too. But I already knew that wasnt going to happen.
