Pass the line is a fucking JOKE. A ploy for HoB to make more money off people - they even had some broad SOLICITING for it in SD in the regular line.

So yeah, don't expect to wait any less time- just plan on spending more money

P.S. Re: that other thread - since when is somebody "not here to defend themselves" on a PUBLIC board. It's not like this place is private therefore it's open to EVERYONE. Being that she did "EveRy shOw On ThE sUmMEr tOUr zOmG" I'm sure she has plenty of friends to tell her about the thread. Buuuut whatever. As I said before....she's obviously new to the whole "touring" thing and this may have been a lesson for her and if it wasn't she will learn soon enough I'm sure.

Can you care to elaborate for me? Like...so Pass the Line is another line formed out front that lets you in 15 minutes early then, but it's just as long? I'm curious because all three shows I have coming up are all at HoB, and I'm doing the reservations in NOLA simply because my flight lands at noon but by the time my boyfriend gets me and we check into our hotel it will be late.

So yeah, the Passers get into a separate line and are let in first though? They're doing the Mac/Johns myspace photo shoot outside the venue so I'm curious how people will leave the lines to take part.

If it sucks doing the Pass at that show I won't bother for the other two. And....I heard a certain someone won't be at NOLA so I can enjoy myself to the fullest extent before she learns her lesson in Chicago.

Okay I think I understand it more. I think OH at least there will be much less fans traveling (it is Ohio after all) so maybe the Pass will actually do some good for me that day - I will be waking up early and driving there but it's a six hour drive. NOLA I'm sticking with the Pass just to see how it works out - also my boyfriend is not a fan really (just going for me, not that he dislikes them he just doesn't know them enough) so I won't force him to be in line so long. Chicago I have to wait through two bands first so I will drink in back and then get as close as I can with my friends.

California seemed to have more of a turn out than the other places will.

Thanks for the info! I'll let you know if I get anything good from the Pass. One week until I am there! Seriously in exactly one week from now I will be inside the venue listening to some band and dying for sc to start. I can't believe my three show stretch is coming so soon!

While we're on the boob subject, there's speculation that Ezra decided to wean while I was gone. He's not really nursing, he will for a couple seconds and then run off, the most he did was last night and I can't really remember but I think it was decent nursing. I'm not sure if he's shutting me out because he's mad at me for being gone, or if he really has decided to wean, but everyone I've talked to thinks he's weaned.

anywho, it does sound like weaning. how old is your little one? i nursed both my tykes but unfortunately had to wean early on my own for a million sucky reasons...so i'm not sure how a child acts when he or she is just done with the boobi (spelled that way on purpose, it's an old joke. lol) but it sounds like a good possibility.

He'll be 2 in December. We're doing full-term nursing, and I guess technically we have gone full-term (which is considered to be 2+ years) but it's just so sudden. I'm a bf educator so I always tell women that sudden weaning is a nursing strike always under 1, and almost always under 2 - before I left, I couldn't make him NOT nurse a few times a day, and now I can't get him to do it at all. bleh, if it were slower I'd be fine with it, but it being so sudden is throwing me for a loop! Ugh, being a bf educator and I can't even figure out for sure what's going on - that's what sucks about their being a lack of information on full-term nursing.
