I did, and I was up against the rail right in front of Daniel at the stage.
I'd like to know what others thought about the show.
they performed great live last night; it was my first Chair concert

Daniel was very funny and chatted a good few times. They had a laugh on stage, Paul Mac too. It was pretty cool seeing him in the flesh rather than those crazy dissociative videos.
Daniel told that hilarious koala joke.
The floor audience(as opposed to the seated audience) were very rowdy and pushed and shovedto the front which made the whole xperience rather unpleasant or at least way way way less pleasant than it should have been for a wonderful show by a wonderful band. Daniel had to stop a song at one stage because it was getting so riotous(mostly due to the lager louts - see UK slang) and he didnt want to see any of that. He tried pleeing with people to be nice and loving, but he got nowhere and then made a joke about kicking someones fucking ass or something to that effect if the crowd didnt stop fighting. Which was funny in a bittersweet way.
Daniel was wearing a large white hanky/doo rag/towel on his head which looked quite cool. He played the guitar with his mouth a couple times which was creative, as was his various fiddles with his peddle board on the floor, which he used to improv some synth more than once. Twas awesome actually.
He was in great spirits, and had excellent stage presence and antics.
Daniel looked genuinely shocked at how loud the crowd reaction was, and exclaimed "WOW" etc.
Ben and Chris were all smiles and seemed to do a great job for their part. As did Paul.

no pics unfortunately. I'd heard no cameras were allowed so i didnt want to risk mine and by the time we were in line waiting to get in and saw other people with cameras in line, it was pouring rain and we couldnt lose our spot in line to retrieve my camera from home. but on a plus side, as a huge silverchair lover, i enjoyed th show more without sharing my focus for the performance with taking good pics and keeping my camera safe in a near mosh pit.

Im really really hoping some other silverchair concert goers from last night will post pics and or vids online anywhere, let alone here. The venue was small, only like 1500 Max.

Incidentally, all the young modern songs that were performed were KICK ASS! im not sure how many exactly, but im sure NEARLY all the new album was played.

It was hilarious and they laughed about it whilst doing it. Daniel tried to do the lizard voice but after a couple lines , lol, it got too hard on his throat. and he made the croc sound like a big black guy from the 70s. lol

I can't believe that I finally have seen silverchair after so many years of waiting!

Adam- I must have been beside you because i was clinging to the rail on the left side right in front of daniel the whole show.

I was so surprised at the hype for this show. Some people were lined up at 8am to get in for doors at 8pm. Hopefully the reception in Vancouver will convince them that they have to come back!

I can't exactly remember the order but i believe they played pretty much the same setlist as Seattle and Portland. Ana's song was amazing. It started off with Daniel singing by himself, playing his guitar in a spotlight for the first verse. They ended the show with lever which isn't my favourite song but it was so good to see live. One of my favourite songs was mind reader as it was incredibly good live.

Daniel pulled a Hendrix and played a few songs with his teeth which was pretty cool to see. He also told his koala joke which was so funny, especially when the band did all of the sound effects to match.

About 10 seconds into Without you, some people in the crowd started to fight and daniel actually stopped the band to tell them off which was pretty funny. He was like, hey- stop fighting it's gay. If you don't, I'm going to come down there and beat the crap out of you. Simmer down. He actually waited until they stopped before he started to play again.

I have a bunch of pictures and videos. Unfortunately a lot of them are shit because it was so loud and the band requested no flash. I did get a few good ones though.

Not all of your pics were blurry. I love that t-shirt, he wore the same one in white to the taping of the Craig Ferguson show! I want one!!

Thanks for the pics! You had plenty of good ones! At first I was so excited to see Dan wearing his Bang Bang shirt again. Then I thought... uh oh the Bang Bang shirt does not have any buttons... that means he cannot take it off easily... he must have left his shirt on the whole time! Terrible! He better not do that in Boston

well, as far as i know, it was just general pushing and shoving to be aggressively bothersome and get near the front, thats what was happening to the left of Daniel the whole time so im assuming thats what caused the commotion to the right of him when he stopped the show. the bouncers kept an eye out but understandably its hard for them to do very much. a few people were thrown out over the course of the show.

That's what I figured...that's exactly why I prefer watching from the balcony! I'm there for the music and I can't ejoy it with all the pushing
